History: This 22-acre park was purchased in June 1987 for $121,000 from special Council Reserve Funds. The Cisco Gardens Area Civic Club, a westside community group, was responsible for finding the location for this park. On April 16, 1988 Mayor Tommy Hazouri and Councilman Joe Forshee, dedicated the park and the neighboring volunteer fire station. Park amenities include playscapes, grills, a community center, restrooms, 2 youth baseball fields and an adult softball field. The park is currently undergoing improvements, which include field rehabilitation, installation of a new playscape, landscaping, a new restroom/concession building and sidewalk. This prokject was completed March 2003.
